In the architectural landscape of Vorarlberg, Hermann Kaufmann and Christian Lenz pursue a line with independently and jointly designed buildings that is based on careful construction and adheres to clear geometries and exact proportions. The building material wood and industrially produced wood-based materials are required to perform at their best in terms of design and building economy. Quite a few of their works have received appropriate recognition and awards.
