Focusing on wooden architecture, this issue features built works from around the globe, plus two competitions that foresee further integration of timber in cities and urban landscapes. Three essays by Werner Sobek, Matti Kuittinen and Michael Green discuss different aspects of modern wood construction, including adapting timber structures to ultra-lightweight designs, harmonising joints of prefab wooden elements and tall wood building technology.
