"Gaudí
- Seen and Unseen" tells the story of how Gaudí developed his distinctive
popular architecture from 1878-1926, as can be seen in the cathedral Sagrada
Familia's different periods and in his other buildings.
In
this paper the architectural story/message - the seen will be highlighted
because Gaudí in his architecture from the very beginning have had the narrative
- the particular story that each building must communicate - as a leading
architectural motif. But at the same time the paper also deal with the very
important aspect: how buildings are designed and constructed - the
unseen.
The
folder is organized so that the history of the Sagrada Familia is told in
parallel with a comprehensive review of all the Gaudi works, which are visible
in Barcelona.
