Following the Portuguese practice established by José Guedes Cruz through his diverse residential works, this monographic volume compiles fifteen examples from his career, bearing witness to the essential characteristics of his endeavours as a liberal architect, not to mention his willingness to experiment within his profession. Among others, the featured and exemplary projects include Cascais House, Romaine House, D. Pedro V Building, Hedgehog Island, Quinta da Marinha H House and Alcoutins House. Along with detailed drawings, plans and texts, each is remarkably photographed in both unfinished and finished states. With an introduction by Michel Toussaint.
