By consulting the original drawings, letters and other rare materials, Matrix International discovered some hitherto unpublished Furniture Design projects and deepened their study to develop their industrial production. The Lounge Seats for the General Motors Technical Center, the tables for Vassar College and the modular seats for the Chicago University Law School are now part of the Matrix International collection. The organic unity in the furniture project represents the synthesis of this experience and offers a broad perspective on Saarinen's work in the field of Furniture Design. He has collaborated with Giancarlo De Carlo in the field of Urban Design, and some of his projects have been awarded in international competitions.
