Italian born (1960) but nowadays working in Switzerland, Rossi acquired his masters in architecture and urbanism at the University of Columbia in New York in 1985. He worked for 4 year at the office of Cooper/ Eckstut in New York and was responsible for the planning of Battery Park City quarters in New York (the area of land in front of the World Trade Center). In 1989 he set up his office Archilab. This book shows various projects of his office, the majority done in Switzerland. Includes an interview with Rossi by Yves Dreier and introductions by Vincent Mangeat and Maria T.Krafft-Gloria.
